Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Home Based - Anywhere in the UK

We are hiring for a QA Automation Engineer to join our eProcurement Team on a full time and permanent basis. This role can be home based anywhere in the UK, although you will be expected to attend the Farnborough Head Office occasionally for Team meetings and Conferences. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the test function within the eProcurement group with an "automation first" test approach. Initially, the focus will be on creating an automated test framework to exercise the client facing functionality of the Pelican Pi product. This will later be extended to testing the Back-Office applications and processes. Reporting into the Head of e Procurement, this is a Green Field opportunity with the successful candidate needing to set the test automation strategy, define the technologies to be used and the most effective steps to quickly add business value e.g. identifying the highest risk areas to focus on first. We offer the opportunity to be part of an expanding development of exciting customer product/software which is being heavily invested in by the organisation.

Client Procurement Executive – Midlands based


Pelican Procurement Services are looking to recruit a Client Procurement Executive to join the Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our best-in-class professional, transparent and impartial purchasing, supply chain and IT Solution (Pi) on behalf of our clients. This delivers client objectives and business category growth and delivers to a diverse and large client base comprising of multiple pricing structures with varying levels of engagement in line with the commercial risk strategy. We are looking for someone who has Account Management experience and preferably within a Food Services environment.
